Salesforce Product Manager

Job Description

OpenQ is seeking a proven Senior Product Manager to help own and shape our strategy for OpenQ’s Salesforce.com products. OpenQ is the trusted compliance provider for life-sciences companies in connecting to their medical networks. The candidate will work with a world-class team of talented developers, quality engineers, and life-sciences compliance experts to drive features from concept to delivery.

Desired Skills & Experience

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the success of OpenQ solutions on Salesforce.com. Leverage market analysis, competitive understanding, and customer/partner research to define the roadmap.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes, and then work with designers, developers, and quality engineers to implement these features. Bring a detailed eye for user experience and design to ensure features drive high adoption and customer enthusiasm.
  • Facilitate communication throughout the development process between a variety of internal teams in the US and abroad as well as customer facing teams, ensuring that products satisfy customers’ needs and are highly adopted.
  • Serve as a product evangelist with Marketing, Sales, Operations and Support to help them understand the vision, roadmap and best practices.
  • Interact with customers and partners to get product feedback and identify additional market opportunities.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience using as well as managing the development and deployment of Salesforce.com applications
  • Experience managing the deployment of applications to the AppExchange
  • Creative thinker who thrives solving challenging problems.
  • Strong presentation skills to communicate your vision.
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming customer needs into an actionable product vision and requirements definition
  • BS/MS in computer science, mathematics or similar.
  • Highly motivated, passionate self-starter, organized, analytical, detail oriented.

Desired Skills:

  • Past experience within the Life Science industry
  • Past experience working with globally distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile/scrum methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a cross-organizational team.
