Charlottesville, VA – May 16, 2012 – OpenQ, the leading solutions provider for enabling compliant collaboration with medical networks, announces the addition of OpenQ’s App on the Salesforce.com App Exchange. OpenQ’s integrated solution provides a comprehensive suite of tools for pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies seeking to collaborate with external Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), consultants, researchers, customers and other stakeholders through interactions.
Only OpenQ designs and builds solutions specifically for life sciences companies to compliantly and effectively build relationships between their field personnel, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) and other collaborators to identify and develop business critical, yet highly scrutinized, interactions.
“OpenQ for Salesforce now available on the App Exchange demonstrates our commitment to delivering compliant customer solutions for mobile-social interactions with key opinion leaders and thought leaders in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries,” said Otavio Freire, Chief Technology Officer, OpenQ.
The Power of Social, Mobile, Open and Compliant
OpenQ delivers powerful tools to navigate the professional social networks among healthcare professionals (HCPs) and identify the most influential key opinion leaders. Built-in access to comprehensive biographical data, such as affiliation and clinical information, is available to promote effective engagement.
Product Key Features
Rather than providing a disparate group of software tools for specific tasks, OpenQ for Salesforce provides a comprehensive app which includes functionality to identify key opinion leaders; review their professional profiles; and plan, manage and measure the resulting engagement. OpenQ’s data offerings are seamlessly tied into the platform. For example, new stakeholder and network profiles can be easily discovered within the provided identification and search tools. Once identified, all stakeholder and network information automatically becomes part of the customer’s private repository. Built-in reports and an ad-hoc reporting engine provide a powerful lens for analyzing the data captured by the system.

Charlottesville, VA – May 15, 2012 – OpenQ’s MobileQ App was named a Finalist today in the App Award – Business/Government category in The 2012 American Business Awards, and will ultimately be a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award winner in the program.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
The MobileQ App version 1.5, available on the Apple App Store, delivers compliant collaboration for field-based individuals within the Life Sciences industry. Product functionality includes offline content management, secure access to Key Opinion Leader information, as well as the ability to record and manage compliant interactions with those Key Opinion Leaders. Version 1.6 will be available on the App Store later this month.
“We are thrilled to be recognized with a Stevie Award in the same category with Accenture and Citrx,” Said Jim Zuffoletti, President, OpenQ. “OpenQ is the only company in our sector ever to be recognized for our technology with this prestigious award.”
“The adoption of iPad in Life Sciences is accelerating and by making our mobile solution available on the App Store we shorten the time needed to get the product in the hands of users. Field and headquarters personnel are continuously challenged to provide the right content in a timely manner. MobileQ version 1.5 puts a library of controlled content at their fingertips. Presentations can be shared “on-the-spot” during discussions with healthcare providers (HCPs). When content is updated at headquarters, the changes are automatically available in the field via the iPad’s wireless connection. Compliant interaction notes are entered through an elegant interface from within the same app. Data on these interactions, along with contextual information are then automatically available for analysis and decision making. This enables deep insight into areas such as the effectiveness of particular content, potential causes of off-label inquiries, and industry trends.
Users also gain access to OpenQ’s industry-leading profiles. This data, which is curated from a wide array of data sources, is collected in a library and is fully searchable. Updated data as well as new profiles are automatically synchronized with individual iPads in the field. MobileQ’s unique capabilities ensure that your field force and headquarters have the ability to review critical information, share content, or enter notes online or offline.
Only MobileQ was designed and built for Commercialization, Research and Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to identify and develop the business critical and highly scrutinized relationships between life sciences companies and KOLs and their medical networks.
Finalists were chosen by more than 140 business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. More than 150 members of 10 specialized judging committees will determine Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging, to take place May 14 - 25.
Details about The American Business Awards and the list of Finalists in all categories are available at www.stevieawards.com/aba.
